Winterfold Primary School to reopen after teacher among 17 new local COVID-19 cases

 A West Australian primary school will reopen tomorrow after a teacher was among 17 new local cases of COVID-19 reported in the state overnight. 

Winterfold Primary School in Perth's south was closed on Wednesday, sending the majority of its staff into isolation, just two days after children returned to the classroom.

Education Minister Sue Ellery said the COVID-positive teacher had attended a staff development day on Friday and their 3/4 classroom on Monday during their infectious period.
